For the Slaw
  • 1/4 head Green Cabbage finely shredded
  • 2 stalks Green Onion sliced diagonally
  • 1/2 cup Coriander/Cilantro Leaves fresh
For the Dressing
  • 1 cup Sour Cream or plain yogurt
  • 1/4 cup Mayonnaise or olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Lime Zest freshly grated
  • 2 tablespoons Lime Juice fresh
  • 1 teaspoon Salt

Method
 

How to Make Taco Slaw
  1. In a large bowl, combine the sour cream, mayonnaise (or olive oil), lime zest, lime juice, and salt. Stir until smooth.
  2. Toss in the finely shredded cabbage, diagonal slices of green onion, and fresh cilantro leaves.
  3. Gently toss everything together until all the vegetables are thoroughly coated in the dressing.
  4. Set the slaw aside for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld.
  5. Just before serving, give the slaw another light toss and serve.
