  • 1 chili chipotle chili in adobo adjust based on your spice tolerance
  • 1 tablespoon adobo sauce substitute with milder chili sauces if needed
  • 1 teaspoon cumin optional
  • 2 cloves garlic (grated) fresh garlic works best

  • 1 pound salmon fillet fresh or thawed frozen

How to Make Chipotle Lime Salmon
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Blend the oil, lime juice, lime zest, chipotle chili, adobo sauce, cumin, garlic, salt, and pepper in a food processor until smooth.
  3. Prepare the salmon fillet by patting it dry with paper towels. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Spread the chipotle mixture evenly over the salmon fillet.
  5. Place the salmon on a foil or parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for 10-15 minutes until cooked through.
  6. Broil for 2-3 minutes if desired, for a slightly charred top.
  7. Serve with avocado salsa or as a filling for tacos or salads.
