Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, gently mix together the cherry tomatoes, artichoke hearts, red onion, black olives, and fresh basil.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar, Dijon mustard, and minced garlic until well emulsified.
  3. Taste your dressing, then season with salt and black pepper to your preference.
  4. Drizzle the dressing over your salad mixture and toss gently to coat.
  5. If using, sprinkle crumbled feta into the salad and give it a light toss.
  6. For a complete meal, serve the salad over a bed of mixed salad greens.
  7. Allow the salad to sit for about 15 minutes at room temperature.
