Ingredients
  

For the Meatballs
  • 1 lb Ground Beef or ground turkey for a lighter option
  • 1/4 cup Pomegranate Molasses adds sweetness
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Herbs parsley or cilantro, use 1/3 if dried
  • 1 large Egg or flaxseed mixture for vegan option
  • 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs use gluten-free for dietary restrictions
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
For the Glaze
  • 1/4 cup Pomegranate Molasses for glaze

Method
 

Making Sticky Pomegranate Meatballs
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, fresh herbs, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, and pepper. Stir until well-incorporated.
  3. Roll the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Place meatballs on a lined baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  5. While meatballs are baking, pour pomegranate molasses into a saucepan and simmer until thickened.
  6. Toss baked meatballs in the thickened pomegranate glaze until coated.
  7. Serve on a bed of Almond Herb Couscous.
