How to Make Halloween Milkshakes
  1. In a saucepan, mix fresh or frozen blueberries, water, maple syrup, and a pinch of salt. Simmer over medium heat for 3-5 minutes until it thickens.
  2. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in vanilla extract. Let the blueberry sauce cool for about 15 minutes while you prep the rest of the ingredients.
  3. Rim your glasses with maple syrup, then dip them into black sanding sugar for a spooky effect.
  4. In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then refrigerate.
  5. In a blender, combine the cooled blueberry sauce, milk, and vanilla ice cream. Blend until smooth.
  6. Pour the milkshake into prepared glasses and top with whipped cream and meringue ghosts. Enjoy immediately!
