How to Make Halloween Milkshakes
- In a saucepan, mix fresh or frozen blueberries, water, maple syrup, and a pinch of salt. Simmer over medium heat for 3-5 minutes until it thickens.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in vanilla extract. Let the blueberry sauce cool for about 15 minutes while you prep the rest of the ingredients.
- Rim your glasses with maple syrup, then dip them into black sanding sugar for a spooky effect.
- In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then refrigerate.
- In a blender, combine the cooled blueberry sauce, milk, and vanilla ice cream. Blend until smooth.
- Pour the milkshake into prepared glasses and top with whipped cream and meringue ghosts. Enjoy immediately!
