  • 8 oz Cream cheese Softened
For the Binder
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour Can use whole wheat flour for a healthier option
  • 1 tbsp Baking powder Check expiration date
For Extra Flavor
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder Can substitute with fresh minced garlic
  • 1 tsp Onion powder Can use finely chopped fresh onions
  • 1 tbsp Dried herbs Like Italian seasoning, customize as desired

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground sausage, shredded cheddar cheese, and cream cheese, mixing until smooth.
  3. Add all-purpose flour, baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and dried herbs to the mixture, stirring until cohesive.
  4. Scoop and roll small portions of the mixture into 1-inch balls.
  5. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, and place the balls on the sheet with space between each.
  6. Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown and cheese is bubbling.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes before serving warm.
