- Sear Beef: Start by browning the chuck roast in a skillet over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side.
- Prepare Slow Cooker: Transfer the seared beef into the slow cooker.
- Add Ingredients: Pour the melted butter and minced garlic over the beef, then add the Yukon Gold potatoes and beef broth. Stir gently.
