Cooking Instructions
- Drain the block of tofu from its packaged liquids. Carefully slice the tofu into 2.5-inch-long rectangles that are about ⅓-inch thick.
- Pat dry the tofu slices by placing them flat in a single layer on a paper towel-lined baking sheet or plate. Use additional paper towels to absorb any remaining moisture.
- Sprinkle salt evenly over the tofu slices and let them rest for 10 minutes.
- Combine sauce ingredients in a small bowl, stirring until well mixed.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat. Once hot, pan fry tofu pieces for about 2-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Pour the prepared sauce over the tofu in the pan. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.
- Optional: Garnish with more green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
