- In a bowl, combine the brown sugar, honey, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, ground mustard, and cayenne pepper. Stir until fully blended, creating a fragrant spice mixture.
- Generously apply the spice mixture all over the turkey breast. Make sure it’s evenly coated for maximum flavor.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the apple cider vinegar and liquid smoke until well combined.
- Place the coated turkey breast inside a resealable plastic bag. Pour the vinegar and liquid smoke mixture over the turkey, sealing the bag tightly while removing excess air. Refrigerate for at least 24 hours.
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Take the marinated turkey out of the bag and place it on a roasting pan. Roast it for about 1.5 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Once cooked, remove the turkey from the oven and let it rest for about 20 minutes.
