Ingredients
  

For the Turkey Mixture
  • 1 lb Ground turkey lean protein
  • 2 tbsp Sesame oil for cooking
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp Grated ginger
  • 1 tsp Smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce, low sodium
  • 1 tbsp Sriracha
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Sea salt
  • 1 tbsp Corn starch
For the Bang Bang Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp Sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp Sriracha to taste
  • 1 tbsp Rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Honey
For the Toppings
  • 2 cups Rice cooked
  • 1 cup Shredded carrots
  • 1 cup Sliced cucumbers
  • 1 cup Shelled edamame
  • 1/2 cup Pickled onions
  • 1 avocado Avocado sliced
  • 1 cup Shredded cabbage
  • 1/4 cup Sliced green onion
  • 2 tbsp Sesame seeds

Method
 

How to Make Ground Turkey Rice Bowls
  1. In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, rice vinegar, and honey. Whisk until smooth and chill in the refrigerator.
  2. Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat, add ground turkey, and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Reduce heat to medium-low and stir in garlic, ginger, paprika, onion powder, soy sauce, sriracha, chicken broth, honey, black pepper, and sea salt. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle corn starch over the turkey mixture and stir to combine. Optionally, stir in 2 tablespoons of Bang Bang sauce before serving.
  5. In each bowl, layer rice, fresh veggies, and turkey mixture. Drizzle with Bang Bang sauce and garnish with green onion and sesame seeds.
