Equipment

Method

How to Make French Dip Squares
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and spray a 9x13 inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Unroll one can of refrigerated crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of the prepared dish, sealing the seams.
  3. Distribute the deli-sliced roast beef evenly over the dough layer, then sprinkle grated Swiss cheese on top.
  4. Mix the dry onion soup mix, melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder in a bowl. Drizzle over the cheese.
  5. Unroll the second can of crescent rolls over the filling and pinch the seams to prevent leakage during baking.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, until the top is golden brown. Cover with foil if browning too quickly.
  7. Heat the beef broth in a small pot until warm, seasoning to taste with herbs or spices.
  8. Let the dish cool for about 5-10 minutes before slicing into squares.
