Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F and heat 2 teaspoons of olive oil in a large oven-safe pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Generously season the pork chops on both sides with salt and pepper.
  3. Carefully add the pork chops to the hot pan and sear for about 4 minutes on each side until beautifully browned.
  4. Remove the pork chops from the pan, cover with foil to keep warm.
  5. In the same pan, melt 3 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
  6. Stir in 2 teaspoons of minced garlic, 3 tablespoons of brown sugar, and 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning; cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  7. Return pork chops to the pan, spoon sauce over the top.
  8. Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches at least 145°F.
  9. Once out of the oven, spoon sauce over the pork chops again and sprinkle with chopped parsley; serve with lemon wedges and parsley sprigs if desired.
