For the Stir Fry
  • 1 head Cabbage freshly sliced
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger fresh, grated
  • 2 tablespoons Oil vegetable or sesame
  • 3 tablespoons Soy Sauce or tamari for gluten-free
  • 1 tablespoon Rice Vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame Oil use sparingly
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar adjust to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes adjust based on spice tolerance
For Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons Green Onions finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Seeds for garnish

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Place a wok or large skillet over high heat until it smokes slightly.
  2. Pour in the oil, swirling to coat the bottom of the pan. Quickly add minced garlic and grated ginger, stirring for about 30 seconds.
  3. Add the thinly sliced cabbage, tossing frequently for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Drizzle in the soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, sugar, and red pepper flakes. Stir-fry for another 2 minutes.
  5. Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed.
  6. Remove from heat and finish with a sprinkle of green onions and sesame seeds for garnish.
