How to Make Çilbir
  1. Gather the ingredients. Start by laying out all your components to make the cooking process smoother.
  2. Make the yogurt spread: In a medium bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, grated garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, dill, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed.
  3. Prepare the spiced butter sauce: Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium-low heat. Cook until light golden and foamy, then add Aleppo pepper and cumin.
  4. Poach the eggs: Bring a pot of water to a boil, add vinegar, and reduce to a simmer. Poach the eggs until whites are firm and yolks soft.
