Ingredients
  

For the Skewers
  • 2 lbs Chicken tenders or thighs/breast
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil to help the spices adhere
For the Garlic Parmesan Sauce
  • 1 stick Butter for basting
  • 8-10 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 tbsp Hot sauce for a dash of heat
  • 2 tsps Red pepper flakes adjust to preference
  • 1/3 cup Fresh parsley minced
For the Seasoning
  • 2 tsps Paprika
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Soak wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes.
  2. In a small bowl, combine paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cut chicken into 3" pieces and place in a large bowl; add olive oil and seasoning mixture, tossing well.
  4. Load chicken pieces onto skewers tightly, creating no gaps.
  5. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine butter and minced garlic; heat until partially melted, then whisk in red pepper flakes, hot sauce, parmesan, and parsley until smooth.
  6. Reserve 1/3 of the sauce for basting and set aside the rest.
  7. Cook skewers in air fryer at 400°F for 5 minutes, flip, baste, and cook for additional 2 minutes.
  8. Flip again, baste with more sauce, and cook for another 5-6 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  9. Drizzle with reserved garlic sauce and sprinkle with extra parmesan if desired.
