Preparation Steps
- Soak wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes.
- In a small bowl, combine paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Cut chicken into 3" pieces and place in a large bowl; add olive oil and seasoning mixture, tossing well.
- Load chicken pieces onto skewers tightly, creating no gaps.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine butter and minced garlic; heat until partially melted, then whisk in red pepper flakes, hot sauce, parmesan, and parsley until smooth.
- Reserve 1/3 of the sauce for basting and set aside the rest.
- Cook skewers in air fryer at 400°F for 5 minutes, flip, baste, and cook for additional 2 minutes.
- Flip again, baste with more sauce, and cook for another 5-6 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Drizzle with reserved garlic sauce and sprinkle with extra parmesan if desired.
