  • 2 1/2 cups whole milk almond or oat milk for dairy-free version

How to Make Biscuits and Chorizo Gravy
  1. Preheat your oven according to the package instructions or your favorite homemade biscuit recipe.
  2. While the biscuits are baking, heat a large sauté pan over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the chorizo to the pan, breaking it up with a spatula as it cooks for about 7 minutes until browned.
  4. Toss in the diced onion and cook until softened and translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Sprinkle the flour over the chorizo mixture and cook for another minute, stirring frequently.
  6. Gradually pour in the milk and reduce the heat to medium-low, simmering for 5-7 minutes until thickened.
  7. Remove from heat, ladle the chorizo gravy over freshly baked biscuits, and season with salt and pepper.
