How to Make Pistachio Supreme Croissants
- Prepare Puff Pastry: Roll out the puff pastry into a thin sheet and cut it into 2.5 cm wide strips that will fit perfectly into your baking rings.
- Shape Croissants: Gently roll each strip into a spiral shape, mimicking the twist of cinnamon rolls.
- Bake: Place the spirals in their respective baking rings and bake in a preheated oven at 160 °C for about 30 minutes until golden brown.
- Make Pistachio Cream: Mix egg yolks, caster sugar, and cornflour. Heat the milk until it boils, then gradually add to the mixture, stirring constantly for 7 minutes until thickened. Blend in the pistachios until smooth.
- Fill Croissants: Cut a small hole at the top of each croissant and fill with the pistachio cream using a piping bag.
- Final Touch: Drizzle melted white chocolate ganache over the croissants and sprinkle with crushed pistachios.
