Making the Dough
- Combine Ingredients: Start by placing the flour in a large bowl and top it with dry yeast. Mix gently to combine.
- Mix Wet Ingredients: Slowly pour in the warm milk, olive oil, salt, and sugar. Use a spatula to incorporate until a shaggy dough forms.
- Knead the Dough: Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently by hand for about 3 minutes.
- Let It Rise: Place the dough in a bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and set in a warm spot for about 2 hours.
- Shape the Dough: Punch the dough down, knead lightly again, divide into 8-10 pieces, shape into rounds.
- Cook the Bread: Heat a nonstick pan over medium-low heat. Cook the flattened dough rounds until golden brown.
Preparing the Filling
- Prepare the Filling: Choose one round of bread and turn it into a bread bowl. Preheat your oven to 350˚F.
- Mix yogurt, feta cheese, sweet red pepper sauce, and olive oil in a bowl, then spread this inside the bread bowl.
- Add Eggs: Crack two eggs into the stuffed bread bowl, then top with sliced cherry tomatoes or red pepper slices.
- Bake: Place in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes until the eggs are set.
- Serve and Enjoy: Remove from the oven and serve hot, garnished with fresh dill and red pepper flakes.
