Method
 

Making the Cake
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease the bundt pan generously with baking spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt until thoroughly combined.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the unsalted butter and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Mix in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk. Mix until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan and bake for 30-35 minutes.
  7. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes. Invert onto a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. Frost the cooled cake generously with chocolate icing and top with Halloween-themed decorations.
