Preparation
  1. Prepare the Balsamic Glaze: In a small saucepan, combine balsamic vinegar and honey. Bring to a boil, reduce to simmer, and stir until reduced by half, about 6-8 minutes. Let it cool slightly.
  2. Assemble the Bites: Take a toothpick and skewer a cherry tomato, followed by a mozzarella pearl, and finish with a fresh basil leaf. Repeat until all ingredients are used.
  3. Drizzle with Glaze: Once assembled, drizzle the cooled balsamic reduction over each bite, optionally adding extra-virgin olive oil and cracked pepper.
  4. Let Rest: Allow the assembled bites to sit for about 5 minutes before serving.
