Ingredients

For the Filling
  • 1 pound Ground Chicken Lean turkey can be used for a lighter option.
  • 1 packet Ranch Seasoning Mix Ensure it's gluten-free if needed.
  • 1 large Egg Acts as a binder.
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs Use gluten-free for a gluten-free option.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder Feel free to substitute with fresh garlic if desired.
For the Topping
  • 1 cup Shredded or Sliced Mozzarella Cheese Low-moisture mozzarella is recommended for best results.
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped Parsley Adds freshness and visual appeal.
For Baking
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil or Cooking Spray Coat the tops before cooking.

Equipment

  • mixing bowl
  • Baking Sheet
  • oven
  • Parchment Paper

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, ranch seasoning mix, egg, breadcrumbs, and garlic powder. Stir gently until just blended; avoid overmixing to keep the meat tender.
  2. Using your hands, shape the mixture into golf ball-sized portions. Place the balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving some space between each for even cooking.
  3. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly spray the tops with olive oil and bake in the preheated oven for 18-22 minutes, or until they turn a lovely golden brown.
  4. Once they are baked, remove the chicken bombs from the oven and add mozzarella on top of each one. Broil for 1-2 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and starts to turn golden.
  5. Sprinkle chopped parsley over the melted cheese and serve warm alongside your favorite dipping sauces, or with sides like mashed potatoes or fresh veggies.
