Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8x8-inch baking dish by lining it with parchment paper.
- Cream the softened unsalted butter and granulated sugar in a mixing bowl until fluffy.
- Combine the all-purpose flour and a pinch of salt into the butter-sugar mixture.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared dish and bake for 15-20 minutes until lightly golden.
- Whisk together the eggs, lemon juice, lemon zest, granulated sugar, and dried lavender until smooth.
- Pour the lemon filling over the baked crust and return to the oven for 20-25 minutes.
- Cool completely in the baking dish before cutting into bars and dusting with powdered sugar.
