Ingredients

For the Cold Brew
  • 4 cups cold water Essential base for brewing
  • 4 bags green tea bags Or use loose leaf green tea
For Flavor
  • 2 pieces ripe kiwis Ensure they are ripe for the best flavor
  • 10 leaves fresh mint leaves Opt for fresh leaves for the best aroma and taste
Optional Sweetener
  • 2 tablespoons honey Or substitute with agave or stevia
For Serving
  • 2 cups ice cubes Essential for chilling the drink quickly

Equipment

  • large pitcher

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large pitcher, mix cold water, green tea bags (or loose leaf tea), and fresh mint leaves. Allow the flavors to meld together beautifully.
  2. Add thinly sliced kiwis to the pitcher; if you prefer a sweeter drink, gently muddle some pieces to release their juices without creating a puree.
  3. Stir in honey or your preferred sweetener to taste. Mix thoroughly to ensure the sweetness is evenly distributed throughout the brew.
  4. Cover the pitcher and let it chill in the refrigerator for at least 6-8 hours, but overnight is best to fully infuse the flavors.
  5. Once infused, strain out the green tea, mint leaves, and kiwi slices, leaving you with a smooth, inviting brew.
  6. Pour the cold brew into glasses filled with ice, ensuring each glass is refreshed and ready for enjoyment.
  7. Finish with a flourish by garnishing each glass with fresh mint leaves and a slice of kiwi for that extra pop of color and flavor.
