How to Make Balsamic Baked Chicken Breast
- Combine balsamic vinegar, olive oil, honey, minced garlic, dried oregano, dried thyme, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Whisk until smooth and well-blended.
- Place the chicken breasts in a resealable bag or dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring each piece is coated evenly. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably 2-4 hours.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- After marinating, place chicken in a lined baking dish and pour any remaining marinade over the chicken.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Baste halfway through for moisture.
- Remove chicken from oven and let it rest for 5-10 minutes.
- Slice the chicken and garnish with fresh basil if desired. Serve with your favorite sides.
