  • 1 can Chickpeas or dried, soaked and boiled
  • 1 tsp Smoked Paprika or regular paprika
  • 1 tsp Cumin or coriander
  • 1/2 tsp Fennel Seeds optional
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil or any neutral oil
For the Yogurt Base
  • 1 cup Greek-Style Yogurt or vegan yogurt
  • 1 clove Garlic or garlic powder (about 1/4 tsp)
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Dill or parsley
  • 1 tbsp Juice of Lemon or lime juice
For the Finishing Touch
  • 1 tbsp Crispy Chili Oil or red pepper flakes with olive oil

Method
 

How to Make Turkish-Style Chickpea Yogurt Dip
  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (390°F). Line a roasting tray with baking paper.
  2. Drain the chickpeas and mix with smoked paprika, cumin, fennel seeds, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread the spiced chickpeas on the tray and roast for about 12 minutes until golden and crispy.
  4. In a bowl, combine Greek-style yogurt, grated garlic, chopped dill, and lemon juice. Season and mix until smooth.
  5. Layer the yogurt mixture in a dish, top with crispy chickpeas, and drizzle with crispy chili oil.
