Preparation
- Pat dry the top sirloin steak with paper towels, then cut it into 1-inch cubes. Season with paprika, salt, and pepper; set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, water, minced garlic, honey, sesame seed oil, rice vinegar, oregano, and cornstarch. Whisk to blend.
- Heat vegetable oil in a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add half the seasoned steak cubes, cooking for about 2 minutes per side until browned. Remove and repeat with remaining steak.
- Stir the prepared sauce and pour ⅓ into the hot skillet. Scrape up browned bits from the pan.
- Add seared steak back into the skillet and pour remaining sauce over. Cook for 1-2 minutes until sauce thickens.
- Transfer steak bites to a plate, drizzle with pan sauce, and garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
