Steps to Make
- Preheat your oil by filling a pan with 1"-2" of oil and heating it to 350°F.
- Cut each egg roll wrapper into 4 squares.
- Chop the mozzarella cheese into smaller pieces.
- Mix the filling by adding chopped pepperoni, pizza sauce, and cheese into a bowl.
- Place heaping teaspoonfuls of the filling onto the left side or center of each square.
- Wet the edges of the wrapper using your finger and a bit of water.
- Roll the pizza roll up gently, pressing above and below the filling to seal the edges.
- Fold the top and bottom edges down over the filling and wet them again.
- Seal each roll tightly to prevent any bursting while frying.
- Fry about 4 rolls at a time in the heated oil for 1-2 minutes.
- Remove the rolls from the oil and drain them on a paper towel-lined plate.
- Serve warm with extra pizza sauce on the side for dipping.
