How to Make Christmas Cracker Candy
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and generously spray a baking sheet with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
- Neatly line the salted saltine crackers in a single layer on the prepared sheet.
- Melt the unsalted butter and dark brown sugar in a medium saucepan over medium heat until it reaches the hard-crack stage, about 300°F (5 minutes).
- Pour the toffee over the arranged crackers, using a spatula for even coating.
- Bake for 5-10 minutes, until bubbly and slightly golden.
- Immediately sprinkle semi-sweet chocolate chips on top of the toffee, let them melt, then spread into a smooth layer.
- Drizzle chocolate-hazelnut spread over the melted chocolate layer, and add festive decorations.
- Allow the candy to cool completely at room temperature then break it into pieces.
