Method

How to Make Instant Pot Dirty Rice
  1. Sauté the meats: Turn the sauté setting to high on your Instant Pot. Add the ground beef and sausage along with the diced onions, bell peppers, celery, and creole seasoning. Cook until the meat is evenly browned and fragrant, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Combine the ingredients: Stir in the long grain white rice, chicken stock, and apple cider vinegar until everything is well mixed. Layer the thyme sprigs and bay leaves on top to make them easy to remove later. Lock the lid in place and select low pressure cooking for 12 minutes.
  3. Release the pressure: Once the cooking time is complete, let the pressure release naturally for about 10 minutes. Carefully remove the thyme sprigs and bay leaves from the pot to brighten the dish.
  4. Garnish and serve: Toss in the green onions and chopped parsley, mixing everything together. Serve warm, and enjoy the comforting flavors of your homemade meal.
