How to Make Miso Burnt Basque Cheesecake
- Prepare the Pan: Line the bottom and sides of a springform pan with parchment paper, crumpling the paper beforehand for better adherence.
- Blend Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese and sugar, beating until smooth. Gradually add miso, followed by eggs and heavy cream, mixing thoroughly. Finish with vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
- Bake: Pour the cheesecake batter into the prepared pan and bake at 400°F (200°C) for about 25 minutes, or until the top is deeply caramelized and crackled.
- Cool: Allow the cheesecake to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate to set for a few hours or ideally overnight.

Notes
Serve chilled for best flavor and texture. For clean slices, dip your knife in hot water before cutting.
