How to Make Italian Farinata Chickpea Flatbread
  1. Sift the chickpea flour into a large bowl, then add a pinch of sea salt.
  2. Whisk gradually by adding the water while stirring continuously.
  3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it rest for 2 hours.
  4. Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C) while your batter rests.
  5. Oil an oven-safe skillet generously with olive oil.
  6. Pour the rested batter into the skillet, spreading it evenly.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Remove the farinata from the oven and let it rest for about 5 minutes.
