- Soak the Rice: Rinse the glutinous rice thoroughly under cold water, then soak it in water for at least 1 hour, or overnight for the best texture.

- Simmer: Add vegetable broth or water gradually while stirring, let it simmer until liquid is absorbed, about 5-10 minutes.
