  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 0.5 cup milk whole or alternative
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
For the Frosting
  • 0.5 cup butter unsalted
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp milk or cream to adjust consistency
For the Heart-Shaping Tool
  • 1 roll aluminum foil

Method
 

Baking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. Mix the cupcake batter by combining flour, sugar, eggs, butter, baking powder, milk, and vanilla in a bowl. Stir until smooth.
  3. Prepare aluminum foil by crumpling small pieces into tight balls, about the size of a marble.
  4. Position one foil ball in each muffin well between the liner and the pan.
  5. Bake the cupcakes in the preheated oven for about 18-20 minutes. Test for doneness with a toothpick.
  6. Cool the cupcakes in the pan for a few minutes before moving to a wire rack. Remove the foil balls once cool.
  7. Frost the cupcakes with your favorite frosting and enjoy!
