Making the Rolls
- In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk, granulated sugar, and active dry yeast. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes until foamy.
- In a stand mixer, combine the activated yeast mixture, sugar, eggs, melted butter, garlic powder, and salt. Gradually add bread flour until smooth.
- Knead the dough for about 8-10 minutes until elastic. Incorporate herbs during this stage.
- Shape into a ball and let rise in an oiled bowl, covered, until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
- Punch down, divide into 12 pieces, shape into balls, and place in a greased 9x13 pan.
- Cover and let rise until doubled, about 1-1.5 hours, preheat oven to 350°F.
- Mix garlic herb butter ingredients, brush over risen rolls.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown. Brush with more butter after baking.
