  • 8 oz Cream Cheese softened
  • 16 oz Shredded Cheese any blend, sharp cheddar recommended
  • Black Paste Food Coloring to create an authentic spider look
For Assembly
  • 3.5 oz package Round Rice Crunch Crackers substitute with any round cracker if desired
  • 1 cup Chow Mein Noodles for legs, can use crispy pretzel sticks

Method
 

Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, blend the softened cream cheese and shredded cheese until fully smooth and well combined.
  2. Gently add black paste food coloring to the cheese mixture, adjusting gradually until you achieve your desired shade.
  3. Shape the cheese mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Roll the cheese balls in breadcrumbs to coat them evenly.
  5. Carefully insert chow mein noodles into the sides of each cheese ball to create the spider legs.
  6. Place the finished Cheesy Spiders on round crackers just before serving.
