How to Make Balsamic Glazed Caprese Sandwich
- Prepare Balsamic Glaze: Simmer balsamic vinegar and honey in a small pot over medium heat, stirring occasionally until thickened, about 10 minutes. Remove and let cool.
- Butter & Assemble Sandwich: Butter one side of each slice of bread. Spread pesto on unbuttered side, layer arugula, basil leaves, tomato slices, and mozzarella. Drizzle with cooled balsamic glaze.
- Top & Grill: Place second slice of bread on top, buttered side out. Heat panini press or grill pan over medium heat and grill sandwich for 4-5 minutes until golden and crispy.
