Preparation
- Boil the eggs in a pot of water for 6 minutes for soft-boiled eggs. Optionally add vinegar for easier peeling.
- Transfer the boiled eggs to an ice bath for about 5 minutes to stop the cooking process.
- In a bowl, whisk together the onion, garlic, green onion, chili pepper, sesame seeds, soy sauce, honey, and water to make the marinade.
- Crack and peel the cooled eggs under running water.
- Place the peeled eggs in an airtight container and pour the marinade over them until submerged.
- Seal the container and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight for best flavor.
