How to Make Delicious Peach Cherry Salsa
- Bring a pot of water to a boil and carefully add the peaches. Blanch them for about 30 seconds, then transfer to cold water. Peel and dice into 1/2-inch pieces.
- Halve and pit the cherries before chopping them into small pieces. Add them into the bowl with the diced peaches.
- Finely mince the garlic, chop the cilantro, and dice the red onion. Set these fragrant ingredients aside for mixing.
- Slice the jalapeño, remove the seeds, and chop it finely. Incorporate this spicy element into the fruit mixture.
- Juice the limes directly into the bowl, reserving the zest from one lime for later use.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the garlic, jalapeño, onions, cilantro, lime juice, and lime zest. Give it a good stir.
- Sprinkle in some salt to elevate the taste and gently fold the mixture to combine all the ingredients.
- Chill the salsa in the fridge for at least 15 minutes before serving.
