Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and toast the almonds for about 10 minutes. Chop finely and mix with honey and cinnamon.
- Thaw the phyllo dough overnight in the refrigerator. Unroll carefully and cover with a damp cloth.
- Brush one sheet of phyllo dough with melted butter, layer another on top, and place a tablespoon of filling at one end. Roll tightly, sealing edges with butter.
- Place cigars on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush tops with melted butter and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Heat remaining honey and brush over warm cigars. Dust with powdered sugar if desired.

Store leftover cigars in an airtight container. They can be frozen before baking for up to 3 months.
