  • 1 medium Diced Yellow Onion Sauté until fragrant and translucent.
  • 3 cups Shredded Green Cabbage You can use leftover cabbage.
  • to taste Sea Salt
  • 2 cloves Garlic Cloves Minced or grated; adjust quantity for more intensity.
  • 24 ounces Frozen Hash Browns Use shredded fresh russet potatoes for a fresher taste.
For the Cheesy Goodness
  • 2 cups Shredded Irish Cheddar Regular cheddar cheese can be used.
For Garnishing
  • 1/4 cup Chopped Green Onions Top before serving for a burst of color.

Cooking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sauté diced onion for about 2-3 minutes until fragrant and translucent.
  4. Add shredded cabbage and season with sea salt. Cook for 5-6 minutes.
  5. Stir in minced garlic, cooking for just 1 minute.
  6. Incorporate the frozen hash browns and 1½ cups of shredded Irish cheddar. Mix well.
  7. Bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes, until the top is golden brown.
  8. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top and return to the oven for another 4-5 minutes.
  9. Garnish generously with chopped green onions before serving.
