  • 1 tbsp Sugar To balance flavors
  • 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese Shredded for easier melting
  • 1/4 cup Thai Sweet Chili Sauce Optional topping
For the Wonton Chips
  • 10 wraps Wonton Wraps Can substitute with egg roll or spring roll wrappers
  • 2 cups Vegetable Oil For frying
  • 2 stalks Green Onion For garnish

Equipment

  • oven
  • mixing bowl
  • Baking Dish
  • Frying Pan

Method

Directions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and allow the cream cheese to soften at room temperature.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the crab meat, softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, minced garlic, chopped green onions, soy sauce, sugar, and shredded mozzarella. Blend until well-combined and smooth.
  3. Pour the creamy mixture into a baking dish. Sprinkle a generous amount of mozzarella cheese on top, then bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and the top is golden brown.
  4. While the dip is baking, cut wonton wraps into triangles. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan or air fryer, and carefully add the wonton triangles. Fry until they are golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  5. Once the dip is ready, remove it from the oven and drizzle Thai sweet chili sauce on top if desired. Garnish with sliced green onions, and serve immediately with the crispy wonton chips for dipping.
