Equipment

  • mixing bowl
  • microwave or double boiler
  • Measuring Cups
  • spoons
  • freezer-safe container

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk, heavy cream, whole milk, salt, vanilla extract, and mint extract. Stir until well blended and creamy.
  2. Gradually mix in green food coloring until you achieve the bright, signature hue.
  3. Cover the bowl and refrigerate the mixture for at least 6 hours, or overnight.
  4. Gently melt the bittersweet chocolate in a microwave or double boiler, then let it cool slightly.
  5. Pour the chilled mixture into your ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions for about 20-25 minutes.
  6. In a freezer-safe container, layer the churned ice cream and melted chocolate, creating delightful swirls.
  7. Scoop portions of the ice cream into bowls, halving the Reese's Peanut Butter Cups for monster 'horns' and using M&M's for eyes and nose.
  8. Drizzle each sundae with chocolate syrup and top with a swirl of whipped cream.
