How to Make Baked Salmon
  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C) and line a rimmed baking sheet with silicone liner, parchment, or foil for easy cleanup. This high temperature ensures a beautifully roasted salmon!
  2. Arrange the salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet, giving them a bit of space to roast evenly.
  3. Mix together parsley, garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper in a small bowl to create the flavorful marinade.
  4. Generously apply the marinade over the top and sides of the salmon fillets and place a lemon slice on each.
  5. Bake uncovered for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is just cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Avoid over-cooking the salmon to retain its delicious moisture and tenderness.
