  • 8 oz brick of feta Creamy cheese
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil Rich and flavorful oil
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp fresh cracked black pepper
For the Finishing Touches
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice Brightens the dish
  • 2 tbsp lemon zest Intensifies the citrus flavor
  • 2 tbsp fresh chopped basil Adds herbaceous note

Method
 

How to Make Baked Feta and Broccoli Pasta
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the broccoli florets into quarters and place them in a baking dish. Drizzle 1/2 cup of olive oil, sprinkle with salt and pepper, and toss to coat.
  3. Make space in the center for the feta and place it there. Drizzle more olive oil and a sprinkle of pepper on top.
  4. Bake for 35 minutes until the broccoli is tender and the feta is melting.
  5. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of the cooking water.
  6. Stir the broccoli and feta mixture after baking, adding the reserved pasta water to reach desired consistency.
  7. Add the cooked pasta to the mixture and stir until well combined.
  8. Finish by adding lemon juice, lemon zest, and fresh basil. Stir gently to combine.
