Ingredients

For the Bats
  • 12 pieces Mini Reese's Cups Nut-free alternative if needed
  • 6 pieces Oreo Cookies Any round cookie can be used
  • 12 pieces Candy Eyes Ensure they are edible
  • 1/2 cup Chocolate Icing Can use melted chocolate
Optional Decoration
  • 1/4 cup Sprinkles For personalizing bats
  • 1/4 cup Colored Icing For unique designs

Equipment

  • mixing bowl
  • Baking Sheet
  • Spatula

Method

Directions
  1. Unwrap the mini Reese’s cups and place a small dot of chocolate icing on top of each. This will serve as the base for your bat’s body, helping the wings stick!
  2. Break Oreo cookies in half, keeping one half without icing. The two pieces will transform into the wings, adding that iconic bat look.
  3. Attach the Oreo halves to the sides of the Reese’s cup using the chocolate icing. Ensure they are securely placed to avoid any wing mishaps!
  4. Add two dots of chocolate icing for the eyes on each Reese’s cup. This will give your bats their adorable expression, making them irresistible!
  5. Place the candy eyes on the dots. Allow the icing to set for a bit before serving to ensure everything stays perfectly in place.
  6. Optional: Add colorful sprinkles for an extra festive touch!
