Method
 

Making the Rolls
  1. Combine the yeast and sugar in warm water; let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until it becomes frothy.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour and salt.
  3. Pour the yeast mixture into the flour and salt. Stir until a rough dough forms.
  4. Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 10 minutes until it is smooth and elastic.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
  6. Once risen, gently punch down the dough, divide it into equal portions, and shape each portion into rolls.
  7. Arrange the shaped rolls on a parchment-lined baking sheet, cover, and let them rise again for about 30 minutes.
  8. Just before baking, make a few shallow slashes on top of each roll.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes until the rolls are golden brown.
  10. Remove the rolls from the oven and allow them to cool slightly on a wire rack before serving.
