Making the Crackers
- Preheat your oven to 450°F and reposition the oven rack to the center.
- Combine the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl, including flour, baking powder, sugar, salt, cracked black pepper, fresh rosemary, and seeds. Mix until well blended.
- Add the olive oil and cold water to the dry mix. Stir until a dough forms; it should be pliable but not sticky.
- Divide the dough into four equal pieces. Roll each piece between sheets of parchment paper until thin.
- Prick the rolled dough all over with a fork to prevent bubbling while baking. Transfer to a baking tray.
- Mist the rolled dough lightly with water, then sprinkle a generous amount of flaky sea salt on top before baking.
- Bake for 7-9 minutes, until the crackers are golden brown and fragrant. Monitor closely.
- Cool the crackers on a wire rack for a few minutes. Once cooled, break them into pieces and serve.
