Ingredients
  

For the Salmon Base
  • 6 ounces Salmon canned or freshly cooked
  • 1 large Egg to bind the mixture
  • 1/4 cup Almond Flour adjust based on consistency
  • 2 tablespoons Mayonnaise or Greek yogurt for a lighter option
For the Seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon Table Salt adjust to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground Thyme freshly dried can be used
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
For Cooking
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil for frying
For the Dill-Garlic Dip
  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream for the dip base
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Dill finely chopped
  • 1 clove Garlic freshly minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ground Cayenne adjust to spice preference

Method
 

How to Make Salmon Patties
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine sour cream, dill, garlic, cayenne, salt, and pepper. Stir well and refrigerate for at least 10 minutes.
  2. Drain and thoroughly dry your salmon. Measure out 6 ounces and break into small pieces.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together salmon, almond flour, mayonnaise, egg, salt, thyme, and black pepper until well combined. Form into five equal balls and flatten each to about 2-3 inches.
  4. Heat olive oil in a nonstick pan over medium heat. Fry patties for 5-6 minutes on one side until golden brown. Flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
  5. Plate the warm salmon patties and top each with a dollop of the zesty dill-garlic dip. Enjoy while hot!

Notes
