How to Make Crispy Roasted Lentils
- Preheat your oven to 160°C (320°F).
- Drain and rinse the lentils under cold water, then pat dry with a paper towel.
- Drizzle a thin layer of cooking oil over a baking sheet. Add the lentils, then sprinkle with salt and spread evenly.
- Roast in the oven for 20 minutes, shaking the pan occasionally until they turn light golden.
- Remove from the oven, add the chili powder and garlic powder, and toss to coat.
- Return to the oven for an additional 10-15 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
