  • Cooking Oil substitute with spray oil or skip for oil-free version
For Seasoning
  • Salt adjust according to taste
  • 0.5 teaspoon Chilli Powder increase to 1 teaspoon for a bolder kick
  • 0.25 teaspoon Garlic Powder increase to 0.5 teaspoon for more garlic flavor

Method
 

How to Make Crispy Roasted Lentils
  1. Preheat your oven to 160°C (320°F).
  2. Drain and rinse the lentils under cold water, then pat dry with a paper towel.
  3. Drizzle a thin layer of cooking oil over a baking sheet. Add the lentils, then sprinkle with salt and spread evenly.
  4. Roast in the oven for 20 minutes, shaking the pan occasionally until they turn light golden.
  5. Remove from the oven, add the chili powder and garlic powder, and toss to coat.
  6. Return to the oven for an additional 10-15 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
