Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Combine the rinsed and drained black beans in a mixing bowl with olive oil and (optional) salt and pepper.
- Add the grated Parmesan cheese to the bowl and mix well.
- Spread the seasoned beans on a parchment-lined baking sheet in a single layer.
Cooking
- Bake the beans in the oven for 35-40 minutes, stirring halfway through.
- For the air fryer, toss the beans with olive oil, cheese, salt, and pepper, then air fry for 10 minutes, flip and cook for another 5-10 minutes.
- Cool the roasted beans for a few minutes before serving.
